When you set up your Zumo wallet, you generate what’s called a public and private key to manage your funds. The private key is represented by a Backup Phrase which is a series of randomly generated words unique to your wallet. Your Backup Phrase is required to access your funds should you lose or forget your password. Zumo does not have access to your private keys, so it is essential that you securely record your backup phrase.
